Hoppin' Good Times: Easter Weekend at Grande Shores

Collage of Grande Shores' upgrades: new lighting, doors, trashcans, beach walkway.

Easter Weekend at Grande Shores was nothing short of egg-straordinary! From egg hunts on the oceanfront lawn to sweet moments shared with the Easter Bunny himself, the holiday was packed with fun and festive memories.

We kicked things off with a colorful splash, thanks to our Easter coloring contest. It brought out the creative side in our younger guests, and their masterpieces were proudly displayed in the lobby for everyone to enjoy. Then came the big event: the Easter Egg Hunt! Little ones raced across the oceanfront lawn in search of candy-filled treasures, their baskets quickly filling and their smiles shining brighter than the spring sunshine.

The Easter Bunny also made several surprise appearances throughout the weekend. He posed for photos, handed out hugs and treats, and helped creative special moments families will remember for years.

To top it all off, our Easter Brunch at Shoreline Café brought everyone together to relax, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the holiday spirit. With a spread full of sweet and savory favorites and our team's warm hospitality, it was the perfect way to wrap up a fun-filled weekend.

Whether it was your first Easter with us or part of a cherished tradition, we loved celebrating you. We're already looking forward to next spring!

Great Food & Even Better Moments, Thanks to Melissa!

Since joining the Grande Shores team, our Food & Beverage Manager Melissa Ebright has been busy bringing flavor and fun to Shoreline Café! With over three decades in the hospitality industry and a true passion for creating memorable guest experiences, Melissa has already made her mark through a series of well-loved events. She kicked off things with a festive Mardi-Gras themed Big Game party, complete with pulled pork sliders, a build-your-own-nacho bar, crispy chicken tenders, and a spread of delicious sides. For Valentine's Weekend, she set the mood with a cozy Spaghetti Dinner for two, featuring a bottle of wine and a decadent tiramisu that had guests raving. And of course, if you joined us for Easter Brunch, you already know how Melissa brings heart and hospitality to the table.

Cruising into Relaxation on the Barefoot Queen

Recently, our social media team boarded the Barefoot Queen Riverboat in North Myrtle Beach for a scenic lunch cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway, and it turned into one of the most peaceful afternoons we've had in a while.

From the moment we stepped onto the classic paddlewheel riverboat, we were surrounded by coastal charm. The cruise took us past waterfront homes and the kind of lush Carolina scenery that makes you instantly relax. Live music played as we enjoyed lunch with a view, and the captain shared fun facts about the area, including local history and landmarks we'd never noticed before.

One of the best parts of the experience was simply being on the water. The chance to see Myrtle Beach from a new perspective made it feel like a mini-getaway! If you're looking for something unique and memorable to add to your next vacation, we highly recommend checking out Barefoot Queen Riverboat Cruises. Whether you choose a daytime cruise or a dinner tour, you're in for a special treat.
