Greetings from Grande Shores

Fall has arrived, and it's a beautiful time to visit the beach! We've decked out the property with festive fall decor, and we're gearing up for our annual pumpkin carving contest—always a guest favorite. With cooler days and smaller crowds, it's the perfect time to enjoy a peaceful getaway. Plus, this season gives us a chance to spruce things up around the resort with deep cleans and a fresh coat of paint on the doors. We can't wait to welcome you for some fall fun and relaxation!

Autumn Decor Brings a Cozy Charm to the Resort

We've transformed the resort for fall, with festive pumpkins, autumn wreaths, and cozy seasonal decor adding a warm touch throughout the property. As you can see, it's our Guest Services Manager Shaun's favorite time of the year! We hope you enjoy the charm of the season as much as we do.

Behind the Scenes: Fall Refresh at Grande Shores

As the busy summer season winds down, fall is the perfect time for our hardworking engineering and housekeeping teams to get the resort ready for next year’s fun.

Our housekeeping team is deep cleaning each unit, making sure everything sparkles for your next visit. Meanwhile, our engineering team is hard at work with maintenance projects around the property—including giving all the doors a fresh coat of paint.

We’re sprucing things up so you can enjoy an even better experience when you return. Fall may be quieter, but we're staying busy behind the scenes to keep Grande Shores in top shape.

Meet our New Director of Engineering, Philip Ivey!

We’re excited to introduce Philip Ivey, who joined the Grande Shores team as our Director of Engineering late this summer.

Philip has already made a great impact, bringing his expertise from overseeing operations and maintenance in residential, retail, and commercial properties. His experience and dedication are a perfect fit for our team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.

If you see Philip around the property, be sure to say hello and welcome him to the Grande Shores family!

Making Memories: Groups Celebrate with us at Grande Shores

Our group sales team has been busy this season, hosting some wonderful gatherings. We had the pleasure of welcoming the Lambda Sigma Sigma Lupus Sorority for their 6th Founder's Day Weekend Celebration. This inspiring group of women, dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for individuals with lupus, held a Meet & Greet on our oceanfront lawn. With delicious appetizers and breathtaking views, it was a night to remember. Our staff felt truly honored to support their cause and help create a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Henderson Spearman Family Reunion

We also welcomed back the Henderson Spearman Family for their reunion—a fantastic tradition we cherish! This year, they enjoyed a classic cookout on the lawn, where all 120 family members gathered to celebrate together. The laughter, stories, and stunning sunset made for an unforgettable evening. We always love hosting our repeat groups and look forward to their next visit!

Whether it’s a reunion, celebration, or retreat, we’re here to make every group feel right at home at Grande Shores.

Uniting for Hurricane Relief

In the wake of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, we’ve been truly touched by the outpouring of support from our team and guests for those impacted by these storms. It’s heartwarming to see how our community is coming together in this time of need for our neighboring states. To lend a helping hand, we’re collecting essential items such as non-perishable food, hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. Every donation matters, and your generosity is playing a vital role in helping those in need.

Additionally, we’re extending special discounted rates for those displaced by the hurricanes until November 14, 2024, and we’re pleased to announce that we’ve received FEMA approval. If you or someone you know is seeking refuge during this tough time, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
